Send a Technical Issue

To better understand and address technical issues we need logs and an F2 screenshot. Here's how you can send us that information.

  1. From the Nightingale PTR Portal select "Add a New Post" to create a new post

  2. Summarize the issue (i.e. "Crashing to desktop when launching the game")

  3. Add more details about the issue including how you get it to happen, how often it happens and anything else that may help us diagnose the issue

  4. Choose "Technical Issue" from the category selection


How to send logs and F2 screenshot

After submitting details about your issue, you will be able to upload your logs. These will not be displayed publicly on the portal.

To locate your logs

  1. Hold the Windows key and press R.

  2. This will bring up a run dialog window.

  3. Enter: %localappdata%\nwx-test\saved\Logs in the text box and click ok.

  4. This should bring you to the folder with your log files.

Please attach the NWX file and up to the 2 most recent (if available) backup files to the issue report


To get an F2 screenshot

If possible, please include an F2 screenshot. This gives us important information about your system and the game.

  1. Load into the character you are having issues with

  2. Press F2

Please attach the screenshot to the issue report
