I just wanted to point out - while we're tearing apart every little thing that's inconsistent in the city (like floating bricks and dirt and pathing issues and other things)....
The design of this city is so fantastic. It feels like it fits seemlessly into the world we've been given, but it's so very very different than what we've had before. The victorian vibe is spot on and I'm absolutely adoring all of the little pieces of art and design. The flyers and paintings are phenomenal. The terrace design in the calcularium and the crystal palace herbarium are both amazing buildings. and I'm very much in love with the library that is the astrarium.
Very many kudos.
Absolutely seconding this.
Landing in Nightingale City the first time and walking out into the landing to look over the cityscape, gliding the streets and rooftops, looking around me, it felt like something that just fit with the setting we've had built in expectation but not in actuality until now.
I have a friend who's abstaining from the test to experience it all live and hopefully minimally bugged and she's going to flip out when she sees the Crystal Palace and many of the greenways around the districts.
For me, the thing that just slotted entirely too neatly into my mental images was the Calcularian Transept. That thing is exactly what I would have imagined them to build, and the Druidic one is also fantastic.
